Do you have a reservation policy?

Yes - June-August reservations are weekly only, Saturday-Saturday. All other reservations may be made daily or weekly, with a 3 night minimum requirement on the weekends. One night stays will be allowed Sunday-Wednesday "ONLY" and will be charged a cleaning fee on top of the nightly rate. December-March reservations "MAY NOT" start or end on a Saturday.

What are your deposit requirements?

An initial deposit of $150 is required for all reservations. All summer reservations (June-August) will require a secondary deposit of $300 by April 1st of that year. In March you will recieve a confirmation letter with a request for the secondary deposit. If you make your reservation after April 1st, you will be required to make the full deposit of $450.

What is your cancellation policy?

All deposits are non-refundable but may be transferable. Terms for transfer are as follows: Summer reservations (June-August)require notification prior to April 1, of cancellation. All other dates require a full 30 day notification of cancellation. Transfer of deposits are valued for up to one calendar year. December 15-March 15, deposits may be transferrable if snow and/or ice conditions are not suitable for good sledding or safe fishing. "NO SHOWS" will be charged full balance due.

What is the difference between Pine Bluff and Cedar Ridge cabins?

29 of the cabins at Pine Bluff and Cedar Ridge are 1500 square feet in size and are two story. Pine Bluff cabins sleep up to 10 and Cedar Ridge cabins sleep up to 8. Pine Bluff 13 is 900 square feet, two bedroom and sleeps up to 4 people. The main difference between Pine Bluff and Cedar Ridge cabins is that Cedar Ridge cabins have a second bathroom, washer/dryer unit, dishwasher, and a fireplace. Most Pine Bluff cabins do not have the above amenities but have a more open floor plan, more seating and 2 larger beds. All units have two bedrooms upstairs with 4 beds and a master bedroom downstairs with one bed.

What is included with our cabins?

All cabins have a full kitchen with all of the basic dishes such as: pots, pans, dishes, utensils, toaster, microwave, coffee pot. All cabins have a picnic table and outdoor chairs. Grills are provided from May 15 - October 15. Linen is provided for the beds (not futons - please provide your own full size bedding for these). A set of 10 bath towels, and washcloths, 4 hand towels, 1 roll of paper towel, 4 rolls of toilet paper, and garbage bags are provided for the duration of your stay. We charge for any additional supplies.

Are all cabins considered lakefront?

No - We are located on a Bluff, it is approximately 30 feet up from the lake with a gorgeous view. Please see our Resort layout to familiarize yourself with the location. Most of the cabins are in a horseshoe shape overlooking the lake. Four of the cabins (Pine Bluff 1 & 10 and Cedar Ridge 1 & 14) are considered lakefront units. These 4 cabins have an upcharge of $50-$100 per week, depending on the season, as they are directly overlooking the lake.

What are your departure responsibilities?

Cabins must be left in a "reasonably" clean state. Dishes must be washed and put away. Stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator should be left clean, along with countertops wiped down. Dirty towels must be put in linen bags provided (please do not remove bedding - leave on bed). All items you brought must be removed. Floors must be picked up and left in a reasonably clean state. Garbage must be gathered from all rooms and placed by the back door or brought to the dumpster. You will be charged an additional $50 cleaning fee if the cabin is not "reasonably clean". You are not expected to completely clean your cabin, simply leave it in a respectful condition.

Where are you located?

We are centrally located in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula. We are approximately 4 miles North of Curtis, on the east shore of Big Manistique Lake.

What should we bring with us?

Some items you may want to bring are: crock pots, blenders, mixers, irons, baking dishes, large skillets, large pans, laundry soap, dishwasher soap, bedding for the futons, extra pillows and pool/beach towels. Towels are not provided at the pools, you may not use towels from your cabin for pool use.

Can we have multiple parties paying for the cabin?

No - The person booking the reservation is responsible for full payment of the cabin at check in and/or any damages or other charges that might incur. Your credit card will be kept on file for this purpose.

What amenities do you have?

We have a restaurant/bar on site, 2 heated outdoor pools, basketball court, volleyball, 2 children's playgrounds, yard games, indoor pool and hot tub, and a game room with pool tables, darts, fireplace and 2 televisions.

Do you allow pets?

You must notify the office if you have brought a pet/s. There is $50 charge per pet, per week (max. of 2 per cabin). Pets are not allowed on the furniture. They must be leashed at all times. If your cabin requires additional cleaning (such as pet hair on furniture), you will be charged an additional cleaning fee of $50.

Can we smoke in our cabins?

All of our cabins are non-smoking. You may smoke outside on the covered porch of your cabin. Please use the ashtrays provided on each picnic table. If your ashtray is missing, please ask the office for one. If there has been smoking in your cabin, you will be charged an additional cleaning fee of $150.

Do you have phone and internet service?

Yes - cell phone coverage is limited because of the rural area. We provide a guest phone in the game room located at the pool building. If you will be calling long distance, you need to use a calling card. We have wireless internet located in our pool building, please ask the office for the current password. There is no internet or phone service available in the cabins.

Do you have play pens or roll away beds?

No - We do not provide these items. The futon couches located in each cabin make out into full size beds. You must bring your own linens and pillows if you plan to utilize the futons as beds.
